CBCT for PTSD
Dr. Monson is the primary developer of Cognitive-Behavioral Conjoint Therapy (CBCT) for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. CBCT for PTSD is a manualized therapy for improving individual PTSD, and for enhancing intimate relationship functioning.
CPT for PTSD
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a cognitive-behavioral treatment co-developed by Dr. Monson. CPT is endorsed by the U.S. Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense, and the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies, as a best practice for the treatment of PTSD.
Dr. Monson is a Consultant with EBT3, a team of mental health providers dedicated to providing evidence-based therapy, training and testing. Evidence-based therapies have been proven to be effective through rigorous scientific research.
Dr. Monson completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Forensic Psychology, and has provided forensic psychological assessments and testified in legal proceedings in the USA and Canada in civil and criminal cases.
