The CBT for Couples Foundational Training (October 24-27, 2023) is the first of a 4-part series in the Assessment and Intervention with Couples Training Program.
Dr. Candice Monson and Nellie Health are pleased to announce this didactic 4-part series which will take place over a full year, beginning this October and ending in September 2024. The CBT for Couples foundational training (October 24-27, 2023) will be followed by 3 more workshops in 2024:
1. February 5-6, 2024: Couple Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder, Suicidality, and Emotion Dysregulation, presented by Dr. Skye Fitzpatrick and Dr. Rachel Liebman; 12 CE credits will be offered.
2. May 23-24, 2024: Sex Therapy for Couples & Relationships, presented by Dr. Caroline Maykut and Dr. Morag Yule; 12 CE credits will be offered.
3. September 11, 2024: Restoring Intimacy After An Affair: An Integrative Approach, presented by Dr. Douglas Synder; 6 CE credits will be offered.
If you are interested in developing a training plan to gain competency as a couple therapist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), please reach out to us directly at admin@nelliehealth.com. Depending on the individual needs and developmental level of the clinician, we may be able to provide individual and/or group supervision opportunities that are commensurate with CPO's requirements. All training programs must be approved by CPO.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Couples: A Foundational Workshop. Delivered over 4 half-days, this 12-hour online workshop provides clinicians with a comprehensive overview of the theory and background supporting CBT for Couples and will introduce the fundamental skills of the intervention.
